Synopsis:
Stucco and EIFS have been commonly and successfully used for many year on residential and commercial building projects. In response to new building code requirements and new products being introduced exterior cladding systems are experiencing changes in design and installation. This seminar will educate participants on:
* Air and moisture barrier systems
* The thermal properties and proper installation of stucco and EIFS as continuous insulation cladding systems.
* Codes, the IBC and ASTM requirements related to stucco and EIFS
* Proper System and component installation
* How to provide one of the most durable cladding systems available - stucco and EIFS
This program will be presented by Terry Kastner, director of technical services for the NWCB.
This AIA Accredited seminar will review the newly published Stucco Resource Guide and include a product showcase for manufacturers and dealers of stucco and EIFS products.
